Center To Support Hyd Metro, Musi Project

Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Administration Manohar Lal Khattar has given some big news for citizens of Telangana. Many netizens are happy with the Union Minister’s promises.

Khattar said that the Central government will step in and help Hyderabad Metro. He said CM Revanth Reddy removed the bottlenecks for the Center to step in. He said USA and China had Metros for many years. But India developed Metro very quickly. He said India had 1100 km long Metro while USA had 1400 km. Soon, in 2-3 years, we will surpass them as we are adding 800 to 850 km more, said Khattar.

The Union Minister also promised support and funds for the long-pending Musi Rejuvenation Project. Apart from providing treated, clean water, they will also participate in beautification of the riverfront, he said. Center will provide funds and loans can be taken from institutions like Asia Development Bank to kickstart the first phase of Musi Rejuvenation. In the coming years, we will complete the entire plan, he said.

Housing, water and other facilities will be provided, said Khattar. In the past, we would work from Delhi. But we have decided to decentralize our operation to cater to the states, said Manohar Lal Khattar.
