Andhra Pradesh has one of the best culturally significant eco tourism spots anywhere in India, but this has been largely under utilised over the last few decades. Along with the long beaches, the greenery pockets in the state are beyond measure.
The government of Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu has rightly started to focus on eco tourism and related activities.
Chandrababu Naidu pointed out that tourists from Hyderabad have been flocking the Chirala and Surya Lanka Beach every weekend. He said Hyderabad citizens have started to vacate the city on weekends and happily chill at these beaches weekly.
He further announce the plan to develop eco-friendly tourism hotspots here. This is in addition to the shack culture that is being incorporated from Goa at these two popular beaches in Andhra Pradesh.
The government carried out multiple beautification and urban development schemes here in this area to attract tourism and that’s a proactive sign.
This might sound like an ambitious plan, if Chandrababu says Chirala and Surya Lanka beaches are going to be bigger than the Goa beaches. However, this is the kind of proactive thinking that can yield results and we have a veteran CM like Chandrababu, who is focused on the job.
A strong tourism capital is a very good sign for any state, and it is finally good to see Andhra Pradesh moving in this direction.
