Chandrababu Naidu reiterates that Amaravati will remain the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh has struggled as a state without a solid capital for long enough, and that is not going to be the case anymore with chief minister Chandrababu Naidu fully committed towards Amaravati.
Speaking at a public event today, Chandrababu confirmed the Amaravati will continue to be the solitary capital of Andhra Pradesh and there are no second thoughts about it.
“Karnataka has Bengaluru as capital. Telangana has Hyderabad has the proud capital. We have been struggling without a capital all these years, but I will make sure that this misery ends.” Babu said.
This was followed by another consolidated comment from Chandrababu as he confirmed that the high speed access road in Amaravati will come to operation from August 13 itself. This will be one of the major social infrastructure projects completed in the capital city.
Along with that, several urban pockets, including the residence quarters for public representatives are being actively established at Amaravati. The roadway works linking to Hyderabad and Vijayawada have also been in top flight.
The chief minister pointed out the YCP is looking to abstract Amaravati by spreading the narrative that it is too costly of a project and they are also stepping out to stop farmers from giving lands for the construction.
But he was least bothered about this as Babu confidently said Amaravati will be the public accepted capital, regardless of the YCP’s desperate attempts.
