Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu is taking a lot of pride and challenge in assembling a solid capital for the state in the form of Amaravati. He is taking this up as a challenge to develop a world-class capital for the people of the state.
To put that into perspective, Chandrababu Naidu and his government are establishing a first of its kind implementation in Amaravati, and this is something that India had never seen till now.
Amaravati is going to be the first city in India that will have absolutely no overhead wiring systems. The entire power connectivity and communication connectivity will be carried out through underground wiring system.
This is a part of a larger idea to ensure that there is seamless connectivity all across the city. This would essentially eliminate the risk of electric shock from open wires and the hassle of rearranging the wiring during the times of natural disasters.
This is in pair with the technological centric advancement of the city with several big companies like IBM and Microsoft extensively operating from here.
A great capital is always a blend of technology and seamless connectivity. By the looks of it, Chandrababu is looking to deliver on both counts with Amaravati now.
