Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is a man of action. Unlike the past politicians, he believes in keeping a vision and working towards achieving it. He regularly gives report cards to MLAs including himself and Nara Lokesh.
Recently, he gave ranks to Lok Sabha constituencies. Now, Chandrababu has given ranks to constituencies based on multiple parameters. The implementation of government schemes, file clearances, the working style of the MLAs, growth in villages, cities and a survey on the past and present conditions are considered while giving rankings. Chandrababu gets reports from time to time and then gives ranks accordingly.
Based on various parameters, Chandrababu announced ranks for assembly constituencies. He guaged various indicators prior to giving ranks. Out of 175 constituencies, 21 constituencies got A + ranks while the remaining 153 constituencies got A grade. Only one constituency got B grade.
There were 13 constituencies that got A+ grade with more than 90 marks. Vijayawada West stood as the topper with 93 marks. Gajuwaka stood second with 92 marks. Kakinada constituency stood third while Vijayawada East stood 4th.
Based on the rankings, future works and plans must be devised, Chandrababu told the Ministers, MLAs and officials.
Say Chandrababu and it is about speed of doing business. He believes in results, discipline and sincerity. With the state grabbing 25% of total investments in India, several hubs related to different sectors are being developed. Many industries and R&D facilities will be grounded in a year or two. This means good administration, law & order and connectivity within the state.
Chandrababu is focusing on each constituency to perform at its best so that the state stands ready for the sudden sprout of development that will happen in AP in a couple of years. Ranking constituencies is a step in the right direction to ensure holistic development of Andhra Pradesh.
