Chandrababu Naidu Releases ₹500 Crore in Business Incentives

Chandrababu Naidu at MSME Growth Summit

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu pushed for major regional economic development at the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Growth Summit held in Vijayawada. Addressing an assembly of local entrepreneurs, startup founders, and industrial delegates, the Chief Minister emphasized that small businesses hold the key to transforming raw community ideas into large-scale industrial successes. He reiterated that after agriculture, the MSME sector remains the state’s highest employment generator.

The summit highlights the government’s aggressive new economic roadmap aimed at decentralizing industrial growth. To lower the barrier of entry for local businesses, the state government officially introduced a combined framework linking the new MSME Policy with the Private Industrial Parks Policy. Under a new “One Family, One Entrepreneur” developmental banner, the administration aims to establish at least one dedicated MSME industrial park in every single assembly constituency across Andhra Pradesh to foster hyper-local manufacturing.

To back this structural layout with immediate financial relief, the Chief Minister confirmed the release of ₹500 crore in long-pending industrial incentives. Additionally, a ₹200 crore Cluster Development Program is being set up to modernize manufacturing infrastructure in semi-urban belts. Expressing gratitude to local farmers who voluntarily provided land for the initial setup of 38 constituency-level industrial parks, Naidu asserted that creating self-sustaining industrial clusters is the fastest route to generating employment and securing the state’s economic future.
