TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu has this habit of dillydallying about the Candidates Selection till the last minute. There were instances of Candidates announcement during the last hour of Nominations Filling. But then, Naidu is not keen on doing that this time and will be announcing candidates well in advance.
Naidu has been sitting with the aspirants of various constituencies where there is a huge competition. For an instance, Naidu sat with Adi Narayana Reddy and Rama Subba Reddy for multiple times and ensured that they reach an agreement about the contest. Adi will be contesting for Kadapa Parliament while Rama Subba Reddy for Jammalamadugu.
Similarly, Naidu has been clarifying about the candidates in various contentious seats across the state. We are told that most of the candidates will be finalized by this month-end itself and plan is to announce the first list. This early announcement will ensure that the candidates will get enough time for campaigning.
In all probability, TDP will be the first party to start announcing the candidates for the upcoming elections. On the other side, the State Government has been dolling out sops targeting every section of the society. The plan is to reach out every family with one scheme or the other before the elections.
