Chandrababu Naidu’s 31-year political journey
Back on September 1, 1995, something pretty historic happened in Andhra Pradesh and not many aware of the kind of tremendous impact that it would have the Telugu states.
It happened to be that this was the very day that Chandrababu Naidu took the new chief minister of United Andhra Pradesh for the first time. The series of events leading to his first term at the office might have been controversial, but they were politically significant.
Today, Chandrababu Naidu, who happened to be on an official visit to the Mogalthur constituency recalled on this. He said he feels privileged to have served the people of Andhra Pradesh for so very long.
Back when Chandrababu became the chief minister for the first time, 31 years ago, not many would have expected him to turn up to be one of the tallest statesmen not just in Andhra, but also all of India.
The kind of visionary developments that happen under leadership are beyond ordinary. Not many South Indian leaders have been able to have such a long political career as Chandrababu, and this is something that very few people can boast of.
Babu is going very strong even to this day and there is absolutely no stopping him. This any of the one years has been filled with triumphs, trenches and hardships but he stood tall amidst all of them.
