Peddapuli, Chandranadu: TDP Mahanadu Must Move On?

One of the best things about Andhra Pradesh, chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is that he always keeps himself on his feet and changes with growing trends. This is the reason why he emerged as one of the visionary politicians and has a rich legacy behind him.

However, there are a few certain incidents associated with the ongoing season of Mahanadu, which are casting a regressive spell.

Speaking at ongoing Mahanadu event, TDP Senior leader Gorantla Butchaiaha Chowdary said Chandrababu is the Pedda Puli of AP politics while IT minister Lokesh is the Ugranasimham.

The intention of the senior leader is understandable here as he said Chandrababu is already machinistic politician who works tirelessly and his son Lokesh is proving to be an even more hard worker. But the choice of words of Pedda Puli and Ugra Narasimham are a bit farcical for this generation.

This was followed by another TDP Senior leader who came out and said ChandraBabu’s birthday must also be celebrated as Chandranadu.

These comments have drawn significant backlash on social media, and this is a strong indication that modern politics clearly moved on from this elevatory stuff. Such high praises and melodrama comments will certainly not cater to this generation politics and even at the heart of it, there’s little credence for such talk on stage.
