Naidu Mark Politics in Kurnool and Nellore

TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is known for his Political Acumen and is often called as ‘Rajakeeya Chanakya’. Here is one more example of Naidu’s Political Brilliance. TDP has field candidates for MLC elections in Kadapa, Kurnool, and Nellore. Even though, the numbers here on YSR Congress’ side, many of YSRCP voters joined TDP a long ago making the contests interesting.

In Kurnool, Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy is contesting. Bhuma Nagi Reddy and Shilpa Brothers even though in the same party do not see eye to eye. Naturally, Bhuma should work against Shilpa here. But then Chandrababu clarified that Bhuma will not be taken into the cabinet unless Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy wins here.

Bhuma is working heads down for his rival’s victory. On the other side, in Nellore, sitting MLC Vakati Narayana Reddy of the TDP is facing Anam Vijay Kumar Reddy of YSRC. Even though Vijay Kumar Reddy is a close relative to Anam Brothers who are in TDP, they are forced to work for Vakati’s victory as only then one of the two brothers will be nominated as MLC in Governor’s Quota.

It has to be seen if these game plans work in favour of TDP in these two seats. Polling will happen on March 17th and the counting will take place on 20th. On the other side, all eyes are on Kadapa MLC where Opposigion Leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s uncle and former MLC Y S Vivekananda Reddy is facing B Ravi of TDP.
