Bankers obviously didn’t like the pro-activeness of Naidu to intrude into the banking operations after demonetization. They were upset with his interference and asking them to go beyond the RBI guidelines and their own banks. With the reports out, reflecting these opinions of bankers, Naidu seemed to slow down and addressed the bankers explaining the rationale of his interference.

Naidu said that the cash crunch is a Natural Calamity and all should face it collectively and work together to wave the phase off. He informed bankers that the difficulties that public is facing due to demonetization made him interfere in the banking matters only to reduce the worries of people but not to pressurize them. Later he opinionated that the state is ahead of technology and from December 1 the state should be able to run on mostly cahless transactions.
