Chiranjeevi to Desert Congress?

Interesting details are emerging about Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP, Chiranjeevi not happy with the way Congress Party is treating him. Buzz in the political circles is that a Four member core team of Chiranjeevi close associates have met the other day in Vijayawada. They are going to put forth some demands before Congress.

These demands are about elevating Chiranjeevi as the face of the party in Andhra Pradesh and giving him a say in the party politics. It is said that Chiranjeevi is not happy with the way Chiranjeevi is going in the state and sees no future if this attitude continues. It is not known if this team has the nod of the Megastar.

On the other side, there are rumors that this may be the first step for Chiranjeevi to desert the party. There are speculations that he may join his brother’s Jana Sena or BJP Party as the popular perception is Congress is more or less finished in Andhra Pradesh and there is no chance for the revival at least for the next decade.

Chiranjeevi who merged his Praja Rajyam Party after the 2009 poll debacle, went on to become a Union Minister after getting nominated to Rajya Sabha. Chiranjeevi was made the party’s Chief Election Campaigner for 2014 elections and he led the party to an all time shameful Zero Seats after that impact of the state bifurcation.
