The new Telangana in-charge has become a taskmaster for Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. In the past, he enjoyed a good relationship with Deepa Das Munshi and was able to go about his ways.
There has always been an element of suspicion around Revanth Reddy who came to the Telangana Congress from TDP. This has led to discontent among original Congress leaders.

Revanth Reddy also seems to be basking in the joy of meeting Prime Minister Modi. Based on complaints from local leaders, the Congress high command has decided to bring in Meenakshi Natarajan, a no-nonsense person.
It has been decided that original Congress members will be given MLC seats and this has put CM Revanth Reddy in the spot as he is in no position to entertain other leaders who came to Congress from TDP.

It is said that if Revanth shows off his proximity to the BJP, the Congress could go to any length according to Rahul Gandhi. Another reason is that Revanth is trying to cosy up with Adani, while Rahul Gandhi is trying to fight him at the national level.
It is said this is one of the reasons why Revanth Reddy was not consulted while picking the MLC candidates.

Also, Congress had come to power promising six guarantees which they are struggling to fulfill in both Karnataka and Telangana. Revanth Reddy undiplomatically said he was against freebies at India Today Conclave, 2025.
Already, Meenakshi Natarajan suspended Teen Maar Mallanna, a close aide of Revanth Reddy. Now it remains to be seen what course of action Revanth Reddy will take in the coming days.
