Congress Party had finished finalizing 85% of its candidates in Seema Andhra region. Reports say more than 100 MLA candidates of the total 175 are new comers. The first list of candidates will be released on Monday and the next list is expected to be out on 16th. APCC President Raghuveera Reddy, Union Minister Chiranjeevi, Botsa Satya Narayana and State Congress Affairs In-charge, Digvijay Singh have fine tuned the list and got the Congress High Command approval for it.

Congress image took a severe beating in the Seema Andhra region with the state bifurcation issue. Several analysts predict that the party is all set to bag the biggest defeat of its history this time. Several MLAs and Senior leaders of the party left the party to find options in TDP or YSR Congress. It is known that the nominations time in Seema Andhra began yesterday. Only TDP had released two lists so far.
