Cyclone Montha has crossed Andhra Pradesh near Narsapur. The Cyclone weakens into a Depression over the next twelve hours.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh were in the Secretariat the whole day yesterday to supervise the Preparatory measures to lessen the loss of life and Property Damage.
Chandrababu Naidu left to his residence only at 11.30 PM last night after conducting 15 Tele, Video Conferences and Reviews. Lokesh remained in the Secretariat till the early hours of Today directing the officials.
Once the normalcy is restored, the Relief and Rehabilitation works will begin.
While the Top Leadership is doing everything it could do to help the People in this Crisis. But the coverage of some enthusiastic channels supporting TDP were doing more damage than any help.
Maha TV Vamsi‘s clip praising Chandrababu Naidu‘s efforts has gone viral on Social Media.
“కుదర్లేదు గానీ… కుదిరితే ఆ మొండా తుఫాను ను పట్టుకుని వెనక్కు తిప్పి పంపించేసే వారు. కుదర్లేదు అంతే,” Maha Vamsi says in the video. The video has become a Tool to mock Chandrababu Naidu and TDP on Social Media.
YSR Congress Social Media teams are having a field run. The Channels believed to be favorable for the TDP (called Yellow Media by the Opponents) are unintentionally doing damage for the TDP.
The other day, a similar video of Venkat Krishna also went viral.
This is Social Media age and there are GenZ youth out there. Even the audience watching the Television have evolved so much. Such commentary feels very outdated and Troll material.
TV5 Samba Siva Rao also comes with such troll material every now and then embarassing Chandrababu Naidu and TDP.
When the leadership is already working hard and the public is positive about their work, this type of commentary will only ruin that.
Plain Reporting will be more than enough in such occasions. Probably they are getting over-enthusiastic in a hurry to please the Leadership.
Maybe they are not fit for the current trends, that is something for the Channel Managements to ponder. One would wonder if TDP Leadership has realised this issue. If they did not, it is an even bigger problem!
