Ex-Union Minister Purandhareeswari is currently touring USA on a private program. After enjoying power in Congress for 10 years, Purandhareeswari resigned to the party in the wake of state bifurcation and joined BJP just before the election. Puranadhareeswari, the daughter of Legendary NTR deferred with Chandra babu Naidu and joined Congress. Now that BJP and TDP are allies, they are working together.
Daggubati couple made interesting comments about being back in TDP in her US trip. “Our well wishers and NTR fans wants us to join the party. We are also considering it favourably. But situations and time should favour for joining TDP”, said the couple. Purandhareeswari called for the Telugu NRIs to actively invest in the truncated state as it is the right time to venture as the state will be beaming with natural resources and central concessions.
