Some respite to Congress ahead of GHMC elections

The other day we have seen a news doing rounds in media that Senior Congress leaders – Danam Nagender, Geetha Reddy and Mukesh Goud probably shifting to TRS. This came as a big shock to Congress ahead of the crucial GHMC elections.

However Geetha Reddy issued a clarification this morning. She cleared air that there is no such idea for her and will be also attending the coordination meeting called by Sonia Gandhi.

The state government is officially celebrating the Birthday of Geetha Reddy’s mother, Eeswar Bai. In this event as she was seen along side TRS leaders, rumours cropped up regarding her exit from Congress. This announcement will come as huge relief to Geetha Reddy. On the other side, Danam and Mukesh are yet to make any statement.
