Eenadu had started its investigative journalism unearthing the scams and atrocities that took place in the last five years.
Eenadu seems to have started concentrating on Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy, the Number 2 in the previous government.

Right from Madanapalli Files case to encroaching Forest Lands for his Farm House, the anarchy of his Shiva Shakthi Dairy on the farmers, the Liquor Scam involving his son Peddireddy Midhun, and the encroachment of land worth 30 Crore in Tirupati by his daughter – Eenadu unearthed many scams of Peddireddy in the last five years.
There are rumors that Peddireddy left for the US and is trying to avoid AP as much as possible.

The other day, Peddireddy Midhun tried to attack Eenadu using Margadarshi.
A few TDP MPs called for a Pressmeet and condemned Peddireddy attacking Eenadu.

But here is an interesting observation.
In the last 6-7 months, it is always Eenadu unearthing something related to Peddireddy and his family and then the Government ordering inquiries and registering cases.
And then, the MPs the other day in their Pressmeet were reading out Eenadu’s findings.
Normally, it should be like the Government taking action and Newspapers reporting that.
But here, Eenadu is doing the job of the Government. Instead of being proactive, the TDP Government is just being reactive.
The TDP cadre is very much dissatisfied with the Government for this reason. TDP leadership mainly Lokesh enticed the Public in the name of Red Book.
But then, there was no action and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his team got busy with the governance.
Peddireddy is also an emotional enemy for the TDP.
Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy is the Number Two in the Jagan Government. He has strengthened the party in the Chittoor district and vowed to defeat Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam. He always made demeaning comments about Chandrababu.
So, the TDP cadres are expecting the Government to take care of him but the spite in Eenadu is not seen in Chandrababu.
