Though the Seed Capital project was planned to be completed by 2018, ahead of the next term elections, the project did not have a start up due to legal issues earlier. And now apparently, the project has been initiated by Capital Region Development Authority(CRDA).

CRDA has called out for the bids from the interested companies to submit their proposals to the Original Project Proponent of Singapore, Ascendas-Singbridge Private Ltd, and Sembcorp Development Ltd with a deadline of 21 February. Learned from the issues faced earlier, CRDA has been quite careful in planning the process this time.
CRDA designed the process in two steps, the first step where the companies enroll themselves for the project by submitting their request for Qualification after which, the authority screens the applications and selects the eligible for the next step which lets the competitors bid for the project. Hope the project moves at a good pace and finishes without any hurdles.
