Kolusu Parthasarathy was a Senior leader in the YSR Congress. He was the MLA of Penamaluru from 2019 to 24. He expected a cabinet berth but Jagan did not accommodate. Further, he was denied the ticket for 2024.
Sarathy revolted against the party and joined the Telugu Desam Party just before the elections.

He shares a bitter relationship with the TDP cadre and they do not welcome him but finally they obeyed the party’s command. He contested from Nuzivid and won.
A bigger surprise awaits the TDP cadre after the elections. He was taken into the Cabinet and he is also the only representation from the Krishna district.

Parthasarathy is not even four months old in the TDP and he was inducted into the cabinet ahead of the seniors.
Even after that, there are allegations that Parthasarathy is prioritizing the YSR Congress cadre that came with him into the party over the TDP cadres.

He is also accused of not taking the senior TDP leaders into consideration.
The other day, Parthasarathy was also in a controversy along with Gouthu Sirisha for sharing stage with YSRCP Leader Jogi Ramesh. TDP cadres are fuming at Sarathy and Sirisha for moving closely with Jogi Ramesh who is A1 in the attack on Chandrababu Naidu’s house three years ago.
Panicked Sirisha gave a statement and later also released a video explaining and apologizing.
In comparison, Parthasarathy’s statement was so casual.
The TDP cadres, who were already unhappy with the Minister, moved away from him after this issue.
