After the state bifurcation, he jumped into TDP and lost the 2014 elections.

Later on, he joined YSR Congress and won with a bumper majority in the 2019 elections.

For some reason, Rambabu is not maintaining good relations with the cadre and the leaders. There are groups against him in six mandals of the constituency.

They are planning to complain against him to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Regional Coordinator Balineni Srinivas Reddy. In case, the high command does not take action, they are planning for mass resignations.

They are demanding that Anna Rambabu should not be given the ticket in the 2024 elections. These groups are particularly those of the Reddy community.

They are reaching out to Balineni and YV Subba Reddy for any works leaving aside the MLA.

Cashing in on this, TDP has open gates for those coming in from YSR Congress.

The question is if Jagan can really reject the ticket for the MLA who won with the second-highest majority in the state.
