Telangana is a facing the worst Power Crisis for any state and is in the verge of losing industries due to the scarcity. The state is also struggling to provide Power to domestic as well as agriculture in the state. However even in this crisis, Telangana do not have a minister for Power. KCR kept the ministry vacant during his cabinet formation. Opposition parties are criticizing government for being non serious in the crucial issue even with out having a ministry.
And now KCR is thinking on the lines of allotting this ministry to Harish Rao who is already heading the irrigation ministry. KCR do not want to risk giving the crucial ministry to a new comer and is preferring some one like Harish Rao who is known to the subject. KCR will discuss this issue with senior leaders and ministers today and the official announcement is expected to come out in 2-3 days regarding the same.
