High Drama Delays Sasikala's ElevationIf you thought Sasikala’s Elevation in Tamil Nadu is smooth, you are wrong. More drama is seen between Sasikala and the coveted CM Chair. AIADMK Leaders have made arrangements for Sasikala’s Swearing in ceremony today after Incharge Governor CH Vidya Sagar Rao accepted Paneerselvam’s resignation.

But then the Governor did not allot time for the oath ceremony and instead is busy consulting legal experts after objections. Sasikala is the Accused Number Two in Disproportionate Assets Case of Jayalalithaa and Supreme Court will deliver its judgment in a week’s time.

On the other side, the visit of Governor to Bharatiar University for convocation address at Coimbatore canceled. Governor’s Office has sent an apology and looks like is taking no chances of being in Tamil Nadu at this time. There are rumours that the Governor may put off the oath ceremony until Supreme Court’s Judgement is let out.

But then there are people who say that such move is illegal as Sasikala has the support of AIADMK MLAs. Moreover, High Court had acquitted her in the same case and so, the benefit of the doubt should be in her favour. In case, the Supreme Court judgment do not come in her favour, Paneerselvam may have to enter the fray yet again.
