In a recent tragic incident, a girl was raped by a Rapido driver in Secunderabad. Getting into details, the victim had reportedly been using her phone excessively.
After her parents scolded her for this, she left home sulking. As she was walking along the road, a Rapido driver noticed that she was alone.
Soon, he went up to her and started talking. He made her fall for his words and took her to a lodge in Kacheguda. There, he raped her and escaped from the lodge.
The victim later filed a complaint against the rapido driver at Police Station. The police have registered the case and the investigation is currently underway.
Meanwhile, these kinds of incidents raise questions about the safety of young girls in our society and make parents more worried to send their children out alone.
