Hyderabad is become a hub of various crimes in the recent past. Of late, we have been witnessing daylight murders, attacks on one another and rape cases in the city.
In the latest horrific incident, a woman was gang-raped by her friends in the Vanasthalipuram area of Hyderabad.

Getting into the details, the victim is a software engineer. Recently, she went to a hotel along with her friends. She consumed alcohol with them there.
There was another individual who joined this gang and he also consumed alcohol. Eventually, the guys planned to rape the woman in the gang.

Instead of taking her home, they gang-raped her. Even the outsider who joined them also raped her. The victim was intoxicated and didn’t realise what was happening to her.
The next day, when she woke up, the victim realised that she was gang-raped. She was devastated to know that her friends did this to her.

Eventually, she filed a complaint at the police station and said that she was sexually assaulted with a proper plan. The police took her complaint and registered a case against the accused individuals.
The police have started the investigation. They found out that all the accused were software engineers. Further investigation is underway to determine if the rape was premeditated, to identify the outsider who joined the gang, and to find whether this gang has committed similar crimes in the past.
