Of late, Hyderabad is becoming a hub for horrible crimes. Recently, we have witnessed many such crimes in the city. In the latest horrific incident, a woman was raped in a moving car on Friday night by multiple men.
Getting into details, the 29-year-old victim went to a police station on Friday to file a domestic violence complaint. She booked an auto through Uber to go to the police station from her residence in Yapral.
An Auto (AP 11TA 0266) came her to pick her up in Yapral and dropped her at the Alwal police station. After filing the complaint, the victim took the same auto to return home.
Reportedly, the auto driver Shankar started acting suspiciously and tried to involve the victim in conversations. By taking her through narrow lanes, he stopped near a wine shop.
Later, two of his friends joined him in the auto. They started threatening the victim. Later, Shanker gave her to his friends who shifted her into a car.
Then, she was raped in a moving car across the city till 2:45 am. Later, she was reportedly left in a secluded area.
The victim, with the help of the local people, lodged a complaint at the police station. As of now, the cops arrested the auto driver and are hunting for two more culprits.
