Gujarat ATS arrests Hyderabad doctor

New details have surfaced after the arrest of terror suspect and doctor, Syed Moinuddin, from Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad. The Gujarat ATS arrested him and is now questioning him to uncover his network and plans.

Investigators revealed that Moinuddin was producing a poisonous resin in large quantities. His plan was to mix the toxin in temple and public water tanks to kill many people. The Gujarat ATS seized large amounts of materials used to make the poison from his possession.

The probe showed that Moinuddin acted under instructions from a Pakistani handler operating in India. Officials confirmed they have secured digital evidence linking him to the handler.

Moinuddin studied medicine in China and later returned to Hyderabad, where he offered online medical consultations. Along with him, four others have been arrested. A special investigation unit is now gathering more information from him.

After Moinuddin’s arrest and the Red Fort blasts, security in Hyderabad has been tightened. With polling underway in Jubilee Hills, police have increased security checks across the city.
