Looks like the time has finally come for the city of Vijayawada to have superb face lift. The business city will soon have a City Square built on a mammoth budget of close to 135 crores.

This news was revealed by the CM Chandra Babu Naidu himself in Vijayawada today he said that this city square will be built by Guizhou International Investment Corporation of China on a five-acre land at the Swarajya Maidan in the heart of the city.
“The City Square will be a jewel in AP’s crown said Chandra Babu and also revealed that the city square will have shopping complexes and also a historic stupa which will become a huge tourist attraction.
Several buildings will be dismantled or will be shifted to different areas for this city square. The Swaraj maidan where this city square used to be built will be given a make over and once this place is built it will have an iconic name in the history of AP.
Chandra Babu wants the city of Vijayawada to get historical status and is getting some important things done in the nest few years whose fruits will be bore for generations to come.
