In Weak Rayalaseema, TDP Having Five Aspirants For Nandhyala

YSR Congress repeatedly claims that TDP as a party is done and dusted. The ground reality seems to be much different as the party is having a huge demand for tickets already.

This is happening even in Rayalaseema where the party won just three seats in the 2019 elections. In Nandhyala, the party has the problem of plenty with five aspirants expecting tickets.

MLA Farooq is requesting Chandrababu to give him a final chance in his political career. Minority voters are in decisive numbers in this constituency.

Former MLA Bhuma Brahmanandha Reddy who won in the by-elections in 2017 is keen on getting the ticket.

Senior leader AV Subba Reddy, the close aide of Late Bhuma Nagi Reddy has expected the seat in the by-election but could not get it. He wants it for himself or his daughter.

Former Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya is also expecting the seat. In case she gets that, AV Subba Reddy wants the Nandhyala Parliament ticket.

Along with these leaders, a local educationalist, Middhe Santhi Ram wants to contest for Nandhyala Parliament and the MLA ticket for his son, Siva Ram.

Even though the party has strong leaders in the constituency, they fought among each other and gave the advantage to YSR Congress in 2019.

Chandrababu Naidu does not want it to happen once again. The challenge is to convince all of them to work for whoever gets the ticket.
