An Indigo pilot aged 42 was found dead at his house in My Home Traksha, in Kokapet. He was identified as Adik Amrith Raj.
The body was found after a foul smell started emanating from Flat 601, Block I. The service staff immediately intimated the Narsingi police.
By the time the police reached the spot, Amrith Raj’s body was lying on the floor. The door was unlocked from inside. Amrith Raj’s body was already in a decomposed state.
The police reached out to his wife Shaili Prasad only to find that they were separated and she was living in Kolkata with her two children.
Amrit Raj was living alone after his wife and children shifted to Kolkata. As per preliminary reports, Amrith Raj is said to have died of health reasons.
The pilot is said to have been suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. Amrith Raj was last seen outside his Flat on May 20.
The Narsingi police are investigating the case and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
