The alleged affair involving Sangareddy Congress MLA Jaggareddy has become a major topic of discussion in Telangana. Reports suggest that while other PCC leaders are searching for potential candidates.
Jaggareddy is not engaging with Gandhi Bhavan. He has been at odds with the Congress party for a while now, particularly since Revanth Reddy was appointed as the President of PCC. Jaggareddy has openly expressed his dissatisfaction on multiple occasions, making public comments about his discontent.
Jaggareddy has been actively using media platforms to voice his concerns, claiming that he is being falsely portrayed on social media. Consequently, there has been a growing campaign suggesting that he might switch parties.
During recent Telangana assembly meetings, he notably aligned himself with ruling party leaders rather than his own party members. Videos of Minister KTR and Jaggareddy’s meeting, including a moment where they embraced, were also circulated in the media.
Meanwhile, there’s speculation that Sangareddy’s candidate has been put on hold in the first list of BRS candidates to be released by Chief Minister KCR. Discussions are ongoing as if this seat is being considered for Jaggareddy. On the other hand, Sangareddy BRS leaders reportedly appealed to the party high command to exclude Jaggareddy from BRS candidates.
The AICC has also become concerned about the campaign suggesting Jaggareddy’s potential party switch. As a result, the party has deployed messengers to address the situation.
AICC Secretary Rohit Chaudhary has been tasked with preventing Jaggareddy from leaving the party, and he is currently in discussions with Jaggareddy.
