Jagan Already Started Influencing Election Staff?

Jagan Mohan Reddy recently relieved Teachers from Election duties in the name of Education reforms. The popular perception is that he wants to keep disgruntled Teachers away from elections.

Teachers play a very crucial role in election duties. If they are relieved, there will be a shortage of staff for the conduct of elections.

The opposition suspects that Jagan will be using ward and village secretariat staff for the conduct of elections. Jagan brought the secretariat system and so naturally they are expected to help the ruling party.

As if to please them, the Government had given a G.O. giving them holidays on par with the regular employees.

Until now, they only have a few holidays but now they are giving on par with regular employees.

The Opposition managed to keep volunteers away from election duty. The Election Commission of India has already given the necessary orders.

But then, Secretariat staff are recognized Government employees. It is not easy to keep them away from election duties. So, this is going to be tricky.
