No Funds For CM Jagan’s Bapatla Tour!

Jagan Bapatla TourIn Chundur Mandal of Bapatla district, the district officials had to look for funds to make arrangements for the CM’s visit on the 21st of this month. As no surplus fund exists in any government department, Rs.1 lakh is collected from each Mandal.

The responsibility of cash collection has been entrusted to a district officer in the main department.

On the occasion of CM Jagan‘s birthday, the CM is coming to AVR ZP High School, Yadlapalli, Chundur Mandal, on the 21st of this month to distribute tabs to the students.

For the arrangements of this meeting, funds in lakhs of rupees are required for barricades, chairs, food accommodation, and vehicles. At the same time, there is no money to buy stationery in the offices of Bapatla District Officers.

Officials and employees are purchasing them with their own money.

A similar problem came when Jagan came to Baptla in August for Vidya Deevena Program. Officials of some departments had to pool funds from their own pockets. Now, this second tour of the Chief Minister in less than four months has become a headache.

That aside, this scenario paints a sorrowful picture of the Andhra Pradesh Government.
