Jagan and Kanna Working with An Understanding?

Senior Politician Kanna Lakshminarayana a few months ago was almost ready to join YSR Congress but BJP High Command intervened in the last minute and made him the State Unit President. But then, there are rumors that Kanna is still acting at the behest of Jagan Mohan Reddy in BJP or both of them are working together.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the other day has announced a newcomer as the Party In charge for Guntur West Constituency – the Constituency of Kanna leaving aside the current in charge Lella Appireddy. YSR Congress cadre in the constituency themselves admits that this new candidate will not stand a chance in the next elections.

In a way, YSR Congress cleared the way for Kanna Lakshminarayana and now the race is only between the TDP Candidate and Kanna Lakshminarayana. Even though BJP has no presence whatsoever in Andhra Pradesh, Kanna being a Senior Most Politician has his own strength in the constituency and this is the only constituency BJP stands a chance.

Kanna was a six-time MLA and a Minister for almost Fourteen years during his Prime in Congress. Kanna contested on Congress ticket from Guntur West in the last elections and lost. A TDP hater all his life, Kanna was very vocal against TDP and played his part in TDP – BJP divorce. Jagan helping Kanna win makes things interesting. Is Kanna Jagan’s Man in BJP? or YSR Congress and BJP working together?
