
The SC had a hearing on deputy speaker Raghurama Raju’s petition on YCP leader YS Jagan’s illegal assets case to a different court and petition to cancel Jagan’s bail.
Justice BV Nagaratna and Justice Satishchandra Mishra heard the case. The Court made it clear that there was no need for a hearing in SC regarding the petition over bail withdrawal.

The lawyer of Raghurama said they will withdraw the petition to appeal in the High Court.
On the other hand, the Apex Court also gave directives on petition regarding speeding up the case and shifting it to a different state.

The SC said the case about Jagan’s illegal assets was being overseen by the Telangana High Court. It said SC’s earlier directive about MLA and MPs’ cases to be heard daily will also apply to this case.
A Trail Court must hear the daily proceedings under the guidance of High Court, Justice BV Nagaratna and Justice Satishchandra Mishra said. Hence, there was no need to shift the petition to a new state, the Apex Court stated.
