The ED commented that pending cases have been at the CBI court for a decade now, and there has been no progress on this matter whatsoever in the recent past. It was pointed out that nine cases regarding Jagan and his disproportionate assets has still been pending.

It is evident that the cases have taken a slow burn approach and this isn’t good in a judicial system. So the ED has approached the Telangana High Court with the petition of fast tracking these cases.

It was put in front of the High Court that Jagan and the concerned individuals must be appearing for investigation on a daily basis from now on in order to complete the rest of the proceedings.

Back when Jagan was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, he used to cite official futures as the reason to skip the court hearings. He is not left with this responsibility anymore so it must be a matter of time before he faces the legal consequences in connection with the case.
