Andhra Pradesh politics are already preparing for the upcoming election campaign, which is going to come up in more than a couple of years from now. The stage is being prepared for the 2029 election with the opposition ranks moving fast.
YS Jagan has already confirmed that he would be starting his Pada Yatra in 2027, and it will be going on till the election season starts in 2029. This is going to be one of the major political events in Andhra Pradesh in the days to come.
It has been confirmed in principal that Vijaya Sai Reddy is also going to go on a similar trajectory for the 2029 election.
He confirmed that he would be going on a Pada Yatra himself before the 2029 election. He did not remember the exact timeline, but he would be starting this walkathon program by the end of 2027 or early 2028.
This would essentially mean that Jagan and his former right hand Sai Reddy would be on the roads at around the same time in 2028 and this is going to lead to a very interesting visual. It appears that Sai Reddy is using the exact formula as Jagan and it could be a matter of time before two of them come face-to-face.
Sai Reddy is targeting all the strengths of Jagan and even threatening to expose the fraudulent activities ranging from the AP liquor scam to Kakinada Port scam.
This individual who was once a close associate for Jagan is turning out to be one of his biggest liabilities now and things are not looking for the YCP ecosystem at this point in time.
