One of the most easiest way to evade punishment in an Indian court is to delay the legal proceedings especially if the case is related to corruption. There are 100s of such cases which go for decades in India by the time, the accused is convicted, he grows old and appeals for lesser punishment citing old age. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is accused in more than 10 Chargesheets of disproportionate assets seem to have started the same. Right now everything is going out of the way for Jagan with no support of political power. Experts are of the opinion that Jagan Mohan Reddy may have to go behind the bars once again.
Jagan was supposed to attend the court on 21st of this month but he informed the court that he could not attend it as he is busy in his solidarity tour to the victims of Hudhud Cyclone. Many are of the opinin that this could be a dumbest reason to evade the hearing because there is nothing Jagan does in Uttarandhra except for making political statements and trying to derieve some political benefit. We will have to see if the courts allow this!
