Jagan suggests solution for T-Power Crisis!

jagan-suggestion-on-power-iLeader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has come up with a solution for the power crisis in Telangana. Jagan had suggested Telangana government to swap the purchase power from Chhattisgarh with the power from NTPC. Since there are no transmission lines between Telangana and Chhattisgarh, the purchased power will take a minimum of 3 years to come to Telangana’s utilization.

Jagan had suggested KCR to give the power purchased in Chhattisgarh to NTPC by injecting it to the National Grid. In turn Telangana could utilize an equal amount of it generated at NTPC’s 2,600 MW Ramagundam station, in which Center has a share of 75 per cent.

Jagan also suggested that the swapping can also be done with the second phase of 1,000 MW of Simhadri station, in which central pool accounted for 60 per cent. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress had lost all of its base in Telangana due to its pro-Samayikya Andhra stand before the elections and is today reduced to an almost nothing now in the new state.
