The hearing of Jayalalithaa’s disproportionate cases and her jailing in Karnataka is creating more headaches for Karnataka government. Since her jailing, many political leaders from Tamil Nadu and AIADMK workers are coming to the state and protesting in front of the Parappanna Agaraha jail in which Jayalalithaa is present. Some of them even accuse Karnataka government of conspiring against Jayalalithaa and even delaying the bail hearings. Many in such cases, situations are turning hyper sensitive and creating law and order problems in Bangalore.
Karnataka government is also paying lot of money for security arrangements in an issue not at all related to the state. The Siddaramaiah government is planning to take up the issue with the court in the next hearing and request the court to transfer the case as well as Jayalalithaa to Tamil Nadu. It is known that Tamil Nadu and Karnataka share stained relations in several issues like Cauvery water sharing agreement and the Karnataka government do not want this new headache.
