
HRD Minister Nara Lokesh instructed officials to ready the skills portal by September 1. He said the portal must be able to convert the data entered by those who enrol into a resume.
The Minister said that information regarding the portal must be taken into people. The Minister gave directives during the meeting with officials of higher education, intermediate, skill development, at his Undavalli residence.

He said that job melas must be held every 3 months in all constituencies. He added that a working template must be developed for district job centres.
He said for students with special needs, language marks must be added to subject marks in IITs and NITs.

Make sure to give appointment letters to DSC candidates by August. Take steps to fill teacher posts in high school plus. Degree courses must have content in accordance with UGC guidelines.
The agreement of students must be attached to Aadhar for colleges.

After cut-off marks, bright students must be given seats under convenor quota. Fees reimbursement for 2024-25 must be released soon, Lokesh told the officials.
The parents-teachers meet to be held across the state on July 10, must be held successfully. Students must be counseled regarding career, vocational training and self care, said the Minister.
The officers told Minister Lokesh that Rs 600 crore were released for development of ITIs under Hub & Spoke programme sponsored by the Center.
They shared that ‘Akshara Andhra’, a programme to turn illiterates into literates will be started from July 7. They also informed that the state would be divided into clusters and every cluster will be provided skill development.
