Telugu Desam Party and Janasena Party will go into elections together in 2024. Both parties are yet to announce the seat-sharing but sources say that they have locked that a long ago and are looking at an appropriate time to announce it.

Political Experts say that the Kapu Community, a dominant community in Andhra Pradesh will rally with the alliance after this announcement.

YSR Congress was able to have their support strongly in 2019 and swept most of the seats in Godavari districts.

This time, TDP and Janasena are looking at a clean sweep in these districts like how it happened in 2014.

To negate the impact, Jagan also focused on the Kapu Vote bank.

He is trying to rope in Vangaveeti Radha and Mudragada Padmanabham – the popular faces of the community to bring the voters towards YSR Congress.

The problem is that Radha and Padmanabham were spent forces long ago and were not able to impact electorally.

Forget about influencing the entire community, they were not able to win their own seat for a long time.

Mudragada did not win an election since 1999. He last contested in the 2014 election as an independent from the Prathipadu constituency and lost his deposit.

Radha, on the other side, won the last election in 2004. He lost three elections after that and did not contest in 2019 elections.

So to expect them to influence the entire community and bring the votes to YSR Congress is too much.
