JanaSena party is gearing up for its first major election campaign in Telangana and the stage is being prepared for the same as the party has fielded 8 candidates in alliance with BJP.
Now, the party is facing a unique challenge in the much-talked-about Kukatpally constituency where it fielded Mummareddy Prem Kumar who joined the party from BJP just two days before the polls.
Now, in an interesting turn of events, JanaSena faces the challenge where a man named Koninti Pawan Kalyan has filed his nomination in Kukatpally on behalf of Jathiya Janasena party. The candidate’s name and his party are clearly in resemblance of JanaSena.
Moreover, the election symbol of this party is also very similar to that of JanaSena’s as it has a water bucket symbol which looks strangely similar to the glass symbol of JSP.
It is reported that the said man, Koninit Pawan Kalyan is a BRS supporter and this is a tactic employed by the BRS to try and suffocate JSP in Kukatpally.
BRS has fielded Madhavaram Krishna Rao for the third time in the constituency and the opposition parties are hoping the anti-incumbency will help them in the coming polls.
