BRS head KCR’s family has been landing in legal troubles for the last few weeks. Recently, KCR’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha was arrested and sent to Tihar Jail due to her alleged involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case.
Now, KCR’s nephew, Kalvakuntla Tejeshwar Rao aka Kalvakuntla Kanna Rao, has been arrested by the Adibatla police. He will be sent to remand in a few hours.

Recently, a land encroachment case was filed against Kanna Rao. Allegedly, he and his associates tried to illegally grab a 2-acre land in Manneguda.
A case was filed against Kanna Rao and 38 others in this issue. A few of them were sent to remand. Kanna Rao was absconding when the case was registered against him. The case was filed under IPC sections 147, 148, 447, 427, 307, 436, 506, r/w149.

However, he applied for anticipatory bail. But the High Court rejected Kanna Rao’s plea. Daniel, one of the arrested individuals, told police that Kanna Rao escaped to Singapore.
The police have been searching for Kanna Rao for the last few days and finally arrested him today.
