Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan filed his papers for Rajya Sabha and we reported the news. While filing the nomination, the actor declared his assets as Rs 305.55 crore.
Of this, he showed Rs 245.86 crore as immovable assets and Rs 59.69 crore as movable assets. He is said to own four commercial properties in Chennai, the worth of which is estimated at Rs 111.1 crore.
He is also said to own agricultural land worth Rs 22.24 crore and has a lineup of luxury cars. He is also said to own a hi-end property in the UK.
One interesting point to note is that he names his profession as artist and his educational qualification as Class 8.
Kamal Haasan is among the highest paid actors in the south Indian film industry and takes home Rs 100 crore per film. He also makes a huge income with brand endorsements, his production house Raaj Kamal Films International and other ventures.
