Katari Mohan passed away in hospital

Katari Mohan, husband of Chittoor Mayor, Anuradha who was murdered this morning, also lost his life battling severe injuries in the hospital. The murder attempt was actually on Mohan but Anuradha tried to save him and took the bullets.

The miscreants have stabbed Mohan with a knife and he was taken to hospital in Vellore with severe injuries. However his condition deteriorated a short while ago and he passed away. This turns out to be a very disturbing news for his followers and TDP cadre in the district as they hoped at least he will be saved.

On the other side, 144 section was imposed in Tirupati as TDP cadre came in large numbers and some have even attacked the house of the accused, Chintu. There are rumours that even Chintu got surrendered to Police but the news is not ratified.
