Kavitha Quits BRS, Says KTR Next in Queue

Kalvakuntla Kavitha has officially announced her exit from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), following her suspension by party chief and father KCR. Though the move came from within her own family, Kavitha seemed prepared for it.

At present, she has not revealed any plans about joining another political party. Instead, she stated that she will first consult with members of Telangana Jagruthi before making her next move, silencing her critics for now.

In her statement, Kavitha accused T Harish Rao of dividing the Kalvakuntla family. She linked the alleged conspiracy to a moment when Harish Rao and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy were seen travelling on the same flight.

Kavitha further claimed that both Harish Rao and Santosh Rao played central roles in manipulating KCR and amassing large personal assets. She questioned if the idea of Bangaru Telangana was about enriching the homes of these two individuals.

She openly named Harish Rao and Santosh Rao, accusing them of weakening the BRS from within. Kavitha criticised the party’s portrayal of Harish Rao as a “trouble shooter” and an “aaradugula bullet”, calling him instead a “trouble causer” and a “bubble shooter”.

In a sharp remark, Kavitha said, “The six-inch bullet has hit me. I warn Ramanna (referring to her brother KTR) that he might be next. Even KCR garu may not be spared.”

Despite her exit, Kavitha stated that she remains a well-wisher of BRS. She expressed pride in being KCR’s daughter but advised both KTR and KCR to tread carefully going forward.
