Kavitha Announces Padayatra Across State

Kavitha announces Telangana padayatra

Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha has announced a major political move. She will begin a padayatra across Telangana in the last week of October, covering every district in the state.

In a key decision, Kavitha has chosen not to use the photo of former Chief Minister and her father, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), during the campaign. Instead, she has instructed Jagruthi members to feature Prof. Jayashankar’s image on all posters.

Kavitha has been meeting Telangana intellectuals and educationists to discuss the yatra. The official poster will be released on Wednesday.

Speaking about her upcoming journey, Kavitha said that the welfare of Telangana’s people, especially the Backward Classes, will be her main focus. She also plans to highlight how the Congress government “betrayed the BCs.”

Political analysts believe this padayatra is Kavitha’s way of testing the political waters before the 2028 elections. They say she could also be assessing public opinion on launching her own political party.
