Telangana politics are witnessing something significant again as Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who is the director of former CM KCR launched her own party named TRS, which abbreviates to Telangana Rashtra Sena.
Kavita sounded very proud about launching her own political party, and she immediately took the attack to BRS and the Congress parties in the state. She projected herself to become the chief minister of Telangana in the next election.
However, it appears that neither KTR not Revanth Reddy have taken this matter with regard to Kavitha’s new political party very seriously.
Earlier in the morning, KTR was asked to comment on Kavitha’s party and her remarks on the BRS top leadership. He sounded rather disengaged about this and refused to comment.
KTR had a very dismissive reaction when asked her to comment about Kavitha and her new party. He did not speak a single word about this, which is perhaps a diplomatic way of dealing with things.
And when it comes to chief minister Revanth Reddy, he had a few sharp words to speak about Kavitha. He commented that the existing regional party in Telangana itself is irrelevant and fighting for survival so what’s the point in a new party making such tall comments.
As of now, neither Revanth Reddy nor KTR appear to have taken Kavitha seriously and this is a spot of bother to the TRS chief who’s almost always aiming the barrel at the two aforementioned leaders.
