The previous chief minister of Telangana, KCR is one of the verbally gifted politicians in India. The way in which he can take on his political opponent with his vocal skills is perhaps inspiring to many modern day politicians.
However, after the significant defeat in the Telangana election in 2023, KCR had been rather silent. He made a couple of appearances in the Assembly, but did not speak, and then there were one or two public meetings through the course of the last couple of years.
Finally, there is going to be a public appearance from KCR at a large capacity as he is scheduled to take part at the BRS plenary that is going to be held on April 20.
This news was confirmed by KTR himself today as he said KCR is going to attend a massive public event in Jagtiyal on April 20, on the occasion of BRS formation day. This would naturally trigger a lot of excitement from BRS supporters as they would get a chance to witness KCR back in action.
KCR, addressing massive public events is a good visual as his satires and trademark vocal skills are to be desired. This must be a very big occasion for BRS party and also neutral observers in general.
But again, there is this constant question lingering in the minds of BRS supporters on whether KCR would use this momentum from April 20 to sustain or whether he would go silent again.
Even if KCR comes up with an explosive speech, the crucial thing here is going to be to continue the political momentum. If he goes back into hibernation again, then there could be a significant slowdown in BRS operations.
KTR and Harish Rao, might be ready and prepared to fill the spaces left by KCR, but it is the veteran who is the man of the hour and all the hopes rely on him even to this day. We could get more clarity on this matter on April 20 through the public event in Jagityal.
